This is a proper old city of London boozer, only in Chester, that has a really good reputation for its food - it’s a great meeting place over a pub lunch, and at different times you’ll find half the commercial and professional heart of the city in there.

🐾🌥️ Today’s the day! 🌥️🐾

After what feels like the hottest summer on record, it looks like the weather has finally decided to do the dogs a favour! 😅

Cooler temperatures, a bit of cloud cover… honestly, it’s almost like Mother Nature is a dog lover too. 🐶💚

We’re all set with plenty of treats waiting at the finish, lots of wagging tails, and a brilliant morning ahead.

📍 Join us at 9:00am for our Charity Dog Walk. Whether your four-legged friend is a speedy spaniel, a laid-back Labrador or simply in it for the biscuits, we’d love to see you!

Let’s raise some money, enjoy a lovely walk together and make some pawsome memories. 🐾❤️

~ Pub Walk this Sunday - 26/07~
The kettle will be on and the spirits will be high—just how our late pub dog Ollie (pictured 🐾) would’ve wanted it. No tickets needed—just bring a small donation for North Clwyd Animal Rescue and your finest morning enthusiasm.

No booking, no fuss—just turn up!

Dog? No dog? Doesn’t matter. All are welcome.

We’ll meet at the pub at 9am for coffee, head off at 9:30 for a leisurely loop of the city walls, then wander down to the meadows where the dogs can go let off some steam.

Turns out looking good on the water pays off... 🛶🏆
We’re chuffed to bits to have won Best Dressed Raft at this year’s Raft Race!

The biggest win of the day, though? Together we helped raise an amazing £3,000 for local charities. What an incredible effort from everyone involved!

🚀 When you think of the Chester Raft Race , you probably wouldn’t expect to hear from someone who’s actually been to space… 🤩

But this year’s race theme is *out of this world*, and we’re incredibly excited to share a special message from astronaut Michael López-Alegria Michael López-Alegría ! 🌍✨

A veteran of four Space Shuttle missions, Commander of the International Space Station, and one of the world’s most experienced spacewalkers!

A huge thank you to Michael for taking the time to support such a brilliant community event. We can’t wait to share his message with you all!
