The season is far from over for us but what a summer!

Our main summer club cruises upriver to Abingdon and downriver to the East Coast were tremendous. Well supported, well organised, amazing fun, excellent company. Well done PHYC!

Also great to visit and enjoy wonderful hospitality from our friends at The Windsor Yacht Club and Upper Thames Motor Yacht Club.

What a pleasure to be part of the Weybridge Mariners Sail Past recently, saluting Roy, their Commodore of 10 years!
As hosts to our own PHYC it was important to us to show our gratitude and respect despite many of us being away cruising elsewhere.
Congratulations Roy on an incredible milestone of selfless commitment to WMC and our boating community.

Very enjoyable weekend as guests attending the TMYC Regatta. Our crews couldn't have been made more welcome.
Great programme of events, wonderful.food and many new friendships forged.
Thank you to Commodore Ella and her team, we look forward to seeing you again soon.

What a fantastic day!

The annual PHYC charity Pirate’s Cruise was great fun and has, so far, raised £2,821.50 for the wonderful White Lodge centre, Chertsey.

Setting sail from our base at Weybridge Mariners Club, our pirate fleet ransacked (nicely :)) the river from Walton to Staines and we are truly grateful for everyone that supported us and donated along the way including our friendly lock keepers at Shepperton, Chertsey and Penton Hook locks.

PIRATES AHOY!
Saturday 20th June our annual pirate flotilla will be making its way from Walton to Staines collecting for the wonderful Chertsey charity WHITE LODGE.

Rough itinerary:
11am-12.30 - Walton
THE ANGLERS
THE SWAN
12.45-1.30pm - Weybridge
THE MINNOW
THE OLD CROWN
1-2.30pm - Shepperton
THAMES COURT
4-6pm - Staines
THE LAST HOP
SWAN HOTEL

If you see us give us a wave and if you can cross our palms with silver we and White Lodge will be truly grateful and spare you from walking the plank :) 🙏

Well that’s it.

Our former clubhouse has now gone. Traces of PHYC will long remain in Penton Hook Marina since the club has been part of the fabric of the marina for most of it’s history and many of our member boats continue to moor there. We'll sorely miss the community hub our clubhouse became, we're grateful for the great times we had there and we'll cherish the memories.

For now PHYC club life is great! We're enjoying our current main base at Weybridge Mariners Club and thank WMC for their warm welcome and support. Already 3 tremendous club cruises so far this season with much more planned as member boats continue to fly their PHYC burgees along the Thames and beyond.

We look forward to seeing you out on the water. Long live PHYC!

Thoroughly enjoyable tidal cruise visiting Rochester Cruising Club Ltd during the Sweeps Festival weekend.

Great weather, festival fun and, once again, superb organisation and hospitality from our friends at RCC.

Looking forward to meeting up with RCC, East Farleigh CC, and others in Ramsgate for the Dunkirk Little Ships annual commemoration weekend in just a few weeks time.

Also a special mention to one of our club members that left us at Rochester on a circumnavigation around the UK this summer!!!

A brilliant turnout last weekend on our cruise to Windsor, a total of 18 boats including two Dunkirk Little Ships, Iorana & Breda!

First weekend without the clubhouse, but you wouldn’t have known it 👏

Great to see members making the effort and keeping things going. Brilliant turnout at Thames Court on bank holiday Monday.
