Well that’s it.

Our former clubhouse has now gone. Traces of PHYC will long remain in Penton Hook Marina since the club has been part of the fabric of the marina for most of it’s history and many of our member boats continue to moor there. We'll sorely miss the community hub our clubhouse became, we're grateful for the great times we had there and we'll cherish the memories.

For now PHYC club life is great! We're enjoying our current main base at Weybridge Mariners Club and thank WMC for their warm welcome and support. Already 3 tremendous club cruises so far this season with much more planned as member boats continue to fly their PHYC burgees along the Thames and beyond.

We look forward to seeing you out on the water. Long live PHYC!

Thoroughly enjoyable tidal cruise visiting Rochester Cruising Club Ltd during the Sweeps Festival weekend.

Great weather, festival fun and, once again, superb organisation and hospitality from our friends at RCC.

Looking forward to meeting up with RCC, East Farleigh CC, and others in Ramsgate for the Dunkirk Little Ships annual commemoration weekend in just a few weeks time.

Also a special mention to one of our club members that left us at Rochester on a circumnavigation around the UK this summer!!!

First weekend without the clubhouse, but you wouldn’t have known it 👏

Great to see members making the effort and keeping things going. Brilliant turnout at Thames Court on bank holiday Monday.

Same club, just a different setting.

Thanks to everyone who came along 💙

Today’s Sail Past for our Commodore John Towler was a truly special occasion for Penton Hook Yacht Club, marking not only the start of the season but also the end of an era for our clubhouse.

Thank you to everyone who turned up and made it such a great event, it was fantastic to see such a strong turnout and so many familiar faces out on the water.

A special thank you to everyone that turned out by boat and on the banks as well to all our life members and past Commodores who came to support us.
Your continued presence and support means a great deal to the club.

A memorable day for the club, and one that will stay with us for years to come. ⛵️

See you all tomorrow for our final farewell to our beloved clubhouse ❤️.

This weekend marks the final chapter of our Clubhouse after 62 years.

For many of us, it’s been a familiar place to meet, spend time together, and build lasting friendships.

It’s seen a lot over the years, and it won’t feel the same without it.

As we head into this last weekend, we do so with a mix of sadness and appreciation for everything it’s been.

The building may be closing, but the club and the people in it carry on.

Here’s to 62 years. ❤️
