Important update: The Sober Parrot cafe
Like many hospitality businesses in the current financial climate, we’ve faced many challenges over the last few years.
As a result, after careful consideration, we’ve made the difficult decision to close our Hub cafe, The Sober Parrot in Cheltenham, on 31st January 2026. This also means our external catering service, Hub Eats, will be coming to an end.
All existing bookings up to January will be fulfilled. If you have any questions, please email [email protected].
We’re planning a Goodbye Event for the 31st January, a little thank you from us to you – stay tuned for more details. Our aim is to continue trading until the 31st, and if anything changes, we’ll let you know here. To allow our staff a well-earned winter break, the cafe will be closed as usual over the festive period, closing end of the day Saturday 20th December and reopening the week commencing 5th January.
Although this venue is closing, our commitment to providing safe, recovery-focused spaces remains unchanged. Our recovery cafe, The Clean Plate in Gloucester continues to operate and we warmly encourage anyone who wants to stay connected or continue supporting us to visit us there.
Thank you to everyone who has been part of The Sober Parrot community over the years. It’s been an amazing journey.
