Todays BEER AND CIDER FESTIVAL will be starting at 12.00 and the Ukelele group Will be starting around 7pm. All our usual festivities will be around from noon, including homemade chilli con carne, curry from the beer sheds , hotdogs and of course our famous fish and chips. Take advantage of the fish and chips in the garden straight from the paper it’s cheaper too ! Also including things for the children, competitions, including name the teddy, throwing games, trampoline , space hoppers and a whole tent full of toys. Table tennis for the bigger ones… and I mean the adults 😉 see you soon….

BEER AND CIDER FESTIVAL -Sneaky peak starts today ! From 4pm continuing til Monday late….

Also all competitions will be open and a reminder the Bake off for Sunday starts at 2pm , all savoury !!! Advance notice from entrances would be fab prior to Sunday so we know how many we have entering, remember there is £50 for first, £25 for second and more to the point it IS a fun contest with a huge touch of pride and bragging rights !!!!

Coming up …. Beer and cider festival 21st may -25th May, more details to follow…..

Also general hours update, as well as our usual phone in advance for any out of hours orders we are now operating doors open from 12pm on Fridays too, for walk ins, as a trial…

This is in addition to our current order in advance system where by we will open for eat in or takeaway if booked in advance any day, any time. If we can accommodate we will !

Thur 4-10
Fri 12-10
Sat 1-10
Sunday closed

All enquiries are welcome any time, we are often open outside these hours when tables or takeaways are booked in advance , just call to confirm . I will keep trying to update the hours link 🤦‍♀️

We’re now well on our way with the May 2026 Beer and Cider festival preparations…
If anyone has any photos that we could use in our advertising please forward on to us… these could be of the fabulous entries for the bake-off or any of the completions , competition winners, or the children enjoying the play areas or the adult enjoying/playing in the beer garden or marquee 🥴 anything really…. Please remember that any shared photos may be used in the monthly magazine we use for advertising….

Hi everyone…. It’s getting that time of year that Beer festivals are starting to pop up…. As always we will hold our annual beer festival 22nd-26th May. We are now starting to get everything prepared which includes advertising…. If anyone has any photos of last years Beer and Cider festival they would like to share and wouldn’t mind us using for advertising please forward them to us, they could be of anything beer festival related ….
