I’m really sorry but I’m not feeling well today and unfortunately I don’t have cover, so I need to close the Pavilion for the rest of today.

Pavilion Café & Bar – Update

We’ll be opening from 6pm today 🍻

It’s been a really successful couple of days (thank you ❤️).
Due to the festive holidays, our suppliers aren’t able to restock us today, so we’re adjusting opening time to make sure we open properly rather than half-stocked.

Doors open 6pm — bar open, good vibes, same warm Pavilion welcome.

The fridges are full, the pumps are flowing and we’re ready for festive catch-ups at the Pavilion.

Pavilion update - today

I’m taking today away from the Pavilion.

Having yesterday off has made me realise just how much of my life has been consumed since July, and I need to reset properly to come back stronger.

Because of that, the Pavilion will be closed today, and will reopen this coming week on the following hours:

Monday – from 4pm
Tuesday – from 4pm
Wednesday – from 12 noon
Thursday – 11am–2pm
Friday – 2pm–9pm

Thank you to those who understand. Sometimes stepping back is exactly what keeps things moving forward.

Given the amount of pressure and noise around the Pavilion recently, today I’m taking a short step back to reset properly.

Because of that, the Pavilion will be closed until this evening. I’m currently away from the village and will aim to return for around 6:30pm, though that may change. I’ll update later either way.

Running a community space means knowing when to pause as well as when to push on. Today is about perspective and keeping things sustainable.

Thank you to those who continue to show patience and support — it’s noticed and appreciated.

Important update – Sunday Christmas Dinner

Castlethorpe, I want to be open and upfront with you.

Unfortunately, we haven’t had enough bookings to be able to lay on this Sunday’s Christmas Dinner. With food orders, staffing and prep involved, it simply isn’t viable for us to go ahead with it.

I know this will be disappointing for those who were looking forward to it, and I’m genuinely sorry about that. Anyone who has already paid a deposit will, of course, be refunded in full.

Thank you to everyone who booked, shared the post, or supported us — it really is appreciated, even when things don’t quite come together.
