A MESSAGE FROM THE WHITE HART 🦌
This isn’t a post I particularly want to write, but unfortunately, I feel it’s one that needs to be said.
I’m fully aware that drug use is becoming an increasing problem, and whilst I have absolutely no control over what people choose to do behind their own closed doors, I do have control over what happens behind mine.
The White Hart isn’t just a business to me. It’s my livelihood, my family’s home, and a place where I’ve worked incredibly hard to create a welcoming, safe environment for everyone.
I will not allow that to be jeopardised by drugs.
So, I want to make my position absolutely clear:
Anyone found using or in possession of illegal drugs anywhere on the premises will be banned indefinitely. No exceptions.
This applies to everyone. Regulars, friends, visitors — absolutely anyone.
I don’t care what people choose to do in their private lives. That’s their business. But the moment it comes through my doors, it becomes mine.
I have a responsibility to my family, my staff, my customers and the wider community, and it’s one I take very seriously.
The White Hart is, and always will be, a community pub. Drugs have no place here.
I hope everyone can understand and respect that.
