We offer excellent British food using locally sourced produce, as well as a range of beers ales including our speciality beer brewed here in Cartmel. With friendly, relaxed service you can sit, relax and enjoy your visit either by our log fire indoors or outdoors in our riverside, church view courtyard. At the Cavendish we have 13 rooms available, with 10 rooms above the pub and 3 rooms located above the wonderful shop, 'Perfect English' just a 30 second walk away through the beautiful village. The Perfect English rooms are our luxury large rooms restored to an exceptionally high standard and retain much of the character of the original building with oak beamed ceilings. With comfortable rooms, a seasonal all day menu and our selection of ales, wines and cocktails you will find yourself drifting away into Cartmel’s perfectly laid back way of life within no time.
