We’ve lost a truly special soul, a real character in every sense of the word.

Turlough wasn’t just someone you knew… he was someone who made an impact the moment he walked in. He was everyone’s friend, the kind of person people were just drawn to.

Full of life, laughter, and a bit of mischief, he had a rare gift for lifting a room without even trying.

When Turlough turned up, everything changed. The place came alive, the laughs came easier, and for a while nothing else mattered. Just being there made things better.

He lived with a big heart, full of love and energy, and memories that will stay with us forever.

There are people who pass through life, and then there are people who leave a mark on everyone they meet. Turlough was one of those people.

A great friend to all.
A brother to many.
And someone we will never, ever forget.

Turlough was someone all the staff loved to see walk into Gina’s Bar. He made us all happy.
He will be sorely missed by everyone at Gina’s Bar.

We are thinking of his family and friends at this time, especially his parents Tracey and Declan, and his brothers Gabriel, Mattie and Morgan.

Rest easy, Turlough. ❤️

There are many people who walk through our doors, but every so often someone comes along who is truly special — not just a customer, but a friend to us all.

When Ducky walked into the bar, the whole place instantly brightened. It didn’t matter if you were old or young, a familiar face or someone he’d never met, Ducky would chat away and make everyone feel welcome and at ease in his presence.

The bar won’t feel the same without him. He will be deeply missed by our customers, but especially by all of the staff at Gina’s.

When Ducky came into the bar, he might have come in for a drink, but he never hesitated to lend a hand. Whether it was taking in kegs or emptying bins, no ask was ever too big — and it was always done with a smile.

And when we needed an extra pair of hands behind the bar, he never left us stuck. He stepped in on so many occasions, always with his familiar line: “I’ll never see you stuck.”

And he truly never did.

We are thinking of all his friends and family at this time — his parents Paddy and Kerry, and his siblings Pearse, Hanna, Shan, and Daithi.

We will always remember Ducky for his kindness, his laughter, and the warmth he brought to everyone around him. Rest in peace, our dear friend — you will forever be part of the heart of Gina’s.

Prayer Service for members of our parish community
We invite the people of our community to join in prayer on Friday 26th December at 11am in St Colmcille's Church, Carrickmore to pray for those who have been injured in this mornings road crash.

A Prayer for Healing
Father of tenderness and compassion, you sent your Son to share our human nature, to redeem all people, and to heal the sick. Look with love on all those who are ill at this time. We pray especially for their families and all who love and care for me. We pray too for the doctors and nurses and all who are working to heal and help them. Support all of us with your power, give us hope in this time of trial and suffering and keep us always in your love and care. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen
