Important Announcement
It is with very heavy hearts and deep regret that Tom and I announce our departure from Drovers Rest, with our last official day being this Sunday, 22nd February.
We have had five wonderful years making Monkhill & this wonderful, little pub our home, creating our pub family and carrying on the work Sandy, Sarah, Bill and Linda started to make the Drovers such an amazing place to be.
But, with hospitality facing such uncertainty, coupled with rising costs, and the unsustainable impact it has had on both our physical health and our mental health we have been forced to make this heart breaking decision.
The pub is more than the bricks and mortar; more than the food and the beer, its you, our people, and we can’t thank you enough for making our time here so special.
We aim to have our last night in the pub this Sunday so please come along and have a drink with us.
