Emerging from the heart of the noughties music scene, The Feeling embodies an era of unadulterated sonic brilliance.

The band's musical ascent began with their debut single "Fill My Little World" in late 2005. The band stormed into the UK Singles Chart, debuting at an impressive number seven with their first full release, "Sewn," in February 2006. Further singles Never Be Lonely and Love It When You Call followed quickly and led the band to be the most played act on British radio that year. The album also earned the group the Ivor Novello Award for Songwriters of the Year.

Now, twenty years on from the release of their multi-million selling debut album 'Twelve Stops and Home’, the group celebrate the wonderful journey that they have been on.

🌸 The Daisychain Connection - Celebrating 40 years of underachievement and inactivity!

Like all so-called cult bands, the story of The Daisychain Connection is a tangle of joy, hope, disappointment, loss - and, in the end, acceptance.

Formed in Carlisle in the mid-1980s, The Daisychain Connection never quite blossomed the way they’d hoped, but left enough scattered petals to be remembered fondly by those who were there. Their sound, a curious collision of jangly guitars, melancholic lyrics and stubborn northern optimism, earned them a small but devoted following.

This one-off show isn’t a comeback so much as a brief reappearance - a chance to shake the dust off old tunes and remember why they mattered in the first place. Expect to hear all the songs you know (and a few you’d forgotten you knew), played with the same mix of enthusiasm, beautiful imperfection and heart that made The Daisychain Connection what they were - and, for one more night, still are.

Joint headline show: The Skids and Theatre Of Hate

Skids:
The Skids formed in 1977 in their hometown of Dunfermline, Scotland by Richard Jobson, Stuart Adamson, Bill Simpson & Tom Kellichan. After releasing an independent single the band was played by John Peel, supported The Clash in concert and then were signed to Virgin Records in 1978. Their first singles were “Sweet Surburbia”, “The Saints are Coming” and “Into the Valley” – the latter reaching the UK Top Ten in early 1979.

Theatre of Hate:
Their debut double-A-side single, “Legion”/”Original Sin”, topped the independent chart in 1980, and “Westworld”, their debut album, produced by Mick Jones from The Clash and released in 1982, held the number one position for 21 weeks. The single taken from the album, “Do You Believe In The West- world?” has become an anthem and is still widely played in clubs and on international radio, as well as featuring on numerous compilation albums.
