The London-based, internationally renowned guitarist and composer Ant Law, described as “scarily proficient” by Jazzwise magazine and one of the leading new generation of UK jazz and creative musicians, teams up with pianist/composer John Law (no relation!),“one of the UK’s most imaginative and versatile jazz pianists” (International Piano Magazine) to present: The Laws of (E)Motion. Performing a new suite by John, exploring interweaving lines, pulsing rhythms and subtle harmonies, plus other original music by both of them, the duo creates chamber music both intricate and simple, exploring textures, colour, and space and with plenty of rhythmic energy!
