I'd like to thank everyone for the kind words and for sharing the music video posted below (Drinkin' 'Bou You)

ItzSaykridd & The Pix N Stix used to play upstairs in the lyndon quite often & practised to do a live show but sadly the club shut down before they could.

But here is a video of when they played an acoustic cover of Drinkin' 'Bout You.

Any members who have not claimed their pay out have until Friday 27th August 2021, anyone who comes forward after this date will not be able to claim as thats the finishing date for anything regarding The Lyndon Social Club you can not claim your payment without any proof of membership. THE DATE HAS CHANGED TO SUNDAY SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE

On SUNDAY morning 13th September between 11am and 4pm the Club will be open and any member is invited to attend the Club and take a look at any items they wish to remember the Club by and the times that they had there..Members of the Committee will be in attendance to assist you.

There are some items which have already been disposed of or are in the process of being disposed of via social media that are not for disposal at this time.

NOTICE TO MEMBERS OF THE LYNDON SOCIAL CLUB

As you may be aware the Club has closed and will not re-open. There may be a surplus of funds following the completion of the sale of the property and after all creditors are paid, which may result in a pay out to members. If you are a Life Member of the Club, in order to qualify for such a payment you will be required to produce your Life Membership card.

If you believe you are a qualifying Life Member please email the following email address with details of your membership incl full name and address and if you are able to, forward a copy of your Life Membership card then please do so as well.

The list of qualifying Life Members will close ‪on 30 November 2020‬. if you know of any Life members who may not see this message, please alert them to respond.

Notice to Club members

As members will be aware the Club has been struggling financially over the past few years and several months ago it was decided at an EGM to sell the property. As you all know as well when the Covid 19 pandemic started all venues such as ours were forced to close under government regulations. The lock down has also had an effect on the time process of selling the club but the Committee can advise you that the completion of the sale is very near. As a result the Committee do not feel that it is worth opening the club at this time with the procedures that would have to be put in place and so therefore the club will remain closed. At some time in the future there will be a chance for members to celebrate the club's past. The creditors are in the process of being settles with funds that the club has at the present time and when the completion takes place and all the creditors are settled there is every indication that there will be a surplus, the distribution of which will be in line with the provision of the Club's rule book
