☀️ Another home PV system installed in Cyncoed, Cardiff! ⚡️🏡

This latest installation includes:

🔋 17 x Aiko 490W all-black solar panels
⚡ 8kW Fox ESS inverter
🔋 2 x Fox ESS EP6 batteries
🚗 Zappi Glo EV charger

We also upgraded the customer’s existing Loxone smart home system, giving it another great energy-saving function.

The LOXONE system can now use the hot water tank as a solar diverter, automatically sending excess solar energy to the immersion heater. Rather than simply exporting surplus generation, Loxone regulates the power going to the immersion heater to make better use of the available excess energy.

This helps maximise self-consumption and reduce wasted solar energy, while also providing the customer with hot water using their own solar generation. ☀️💧

Another great example of combining solar PV, battery storage, EV charging and smart home technology to create a more efficient home energy system.

We have just completed a solar upgrade at Aberbargoed Primary School ☀️

The existing 16 x 240W solar panels were replaced with just 8 x 510W modern, high-efficiency panels. Despite using half the number of panels, the new system will generate more power while giving the roof a much cleaner and more modern appearance.

The panels were also installed in-roof, creating a sleek finish that perfectly complements the school’s new roof. 🔋⚡

We’ve just completed this impressive 22-panel solar PV installation, carefully designed across 4 different roof areas, including a flat roof to make the most of the available space.

The system includes:

No roof space? No problem. ☀️🚗

We’ve just completed something a little different for our customer in Wenvoe – a solar PV installation built into a high-quality aluminium carport.

Instead of using the house roof, we supplied and installed a stylish aluminium carport fitted with 15 x 515W DMEGC solar panels, providing an impressive 7.7kW solar PV system while also creating covered parking for two vehicles. Installed with a 7KW Fox ESS UK inverter and EP12 battery to maximise savings

To make the most of the installation, we also fitted:
⚡ An myenergi EV charger mounted directly to the carport.
🔌 A weatherproof socket outlet, perfect for powering a vacuum, jet wash or other outdoor equipment.
