Drawing on current scientific research, over 50 years of meditation practice and extensive study of India’s ancient Vedic texts, Akhandadhi explores the relationship between the brain, consciousness and the self.

At the heart of the evening is the meeting point between modern science and the Vedic understanding of consciousness. Where do they converge? Where do they challenge one another? And could bringing them together offer a deeper understanding of ourselves and reality?

Known for 400+ broadcasts on BBC Radio 4, Akhandadhi is a director of the Science & Philosophy Initiative in the UK and the Bhaktivedanta Institute for Higher Studies in the USA.

An evening for curious minds, bringing science, philosophy and ancient wisdom into conversation 🦋
