Festive croquembouche? 🎄

I can make these to order with 48hrs notice perfect for your festive celebration. All based with filled choux buns but the possibilities are endless. In the past I’ve made countless variations of fillings from pistachio to salt caramel to savoury versions filled with whipped cheese and herbs. These are all handmade from scratch so can be completely customised and personalised.

Designs I’ve done before have ranged from festive, to hip hop inspired, to gold based, to this disco themed birthday one.

Sunday roasts return from this weekend.

I’ve milked my broken ankle for as many days off as I can afford sadly, so I’ll be back cooking roasts from midday until 5pm or they run out. Takeaway roast with all the trimmings also available for £13.50: we’re also fully licensed with a range of beers, wines and cocktails

THIS SUNDAY! I’ll be hosting a very special cooking class in Pontcanna

A chance to join me on Sunday afternoon and learn how to prepare a six course tasting menu featuring dishes from Cora, including seafood, meat and veg preparation, making pasta, desserts, chocolates and sauce techniques.

There will be basic and slightly more advanced skills but the group will be very small and suitable for even the most inexperienced cooks.

Following the preparation you will be invited to relax and spend the evening enjoying your tasting menu which I will prepare for you, with optional wine pairings in our cosy dining room

Spaces are limited to just six guests so I’ll be able to work closely with you.

You’ll receive all recipes, bubbly on arrival and of course your tasting menu to enjoy, and you’re welcome to have any guests join you for dinner

From Saturday November 1st we will be serving guests our Jackson’s and Cora menus every weekend in Pontcanna under the same roof

This is the first time we’ve served both menus in the same venue! Join us on Saturday nights for our beautiful menu of seafood, Welsh lamb and great drinks, and on Sunday lunch times for our Sunday roast lunch. And for the first time we will be serving Cora’s seasonal tasting menu alongside our regular menu at the weekends.

We’re fully licensed and have a great range of wines and cocktails available for fantastic prices. You’re also welcome to pop in just for drinks and we have great happy hour deals
