Growing Through Challenge — Cardiff Toastmasters

Growth rarely happens when everything is comfortable.

Sometimes it comes from stepping outside our comfort zone, trying something new, speaking up, making mistakes and having the courage to try again.

That’s what we’ll be exploring at our next Cardiff Toastmasters meeting.

🎤 Theme: Growing Through Challenge
📅 Wednesday 16 September 2026
📍 Quaker Meeting House, Charles Street, Cardiff CF10 2GB
🎙️ Toastmaster: Alex Stewart

Toastmasters is about much more than public speaking. It’s a supportive environment to build confidence, develop communication skills, meet people and learn through experience.

Everyone is welcome whether you’re an experienced speaker or have never stood behind a lectern before.

And there’s more to look forward to…

✨ BE YOURSELF.

We spend so much time trying to become better speakers — more confident, more polished, more “professional”.

But what if becoming a great speaker isn’t about becoming someone else?

What if it’s about becoming more comfortable being you?

Join us tomorrow evening at Cardiff Toastmasters for an evening exploring how to:

🎤 Discover your natural speaking style
💭 Navigate speaking anxiety
🌱 Build confidence through practice
🤝 Connect genuinely with your audience

Whether you love speaking, hate it, or somewhere in between — you’re welcome.

Come as you are. Find your voice. Be yourself.

📅 Wednesday 2nd September

☀️ Squeezing the Last Drop Out of Summer! 🍋

As summer starts to wind down, why not make the most of the long evenings and try something a little different?

Maybe public speaking makes you nervous. Maybe you’ve always wanted to become more confident speaking in front of others. Or maybe you simply fancy meeting some new people and challenging yourself.

That’s exactly what Toastmasters is here for.

You don’t need to be an experienced speaker, you just need to be willing to give it a go.

Join us for an evening of speeches, encouragement, learning and plenty of opportunities to practise in a friendly and supportive environment.

📅 Wednesday 19th August 2026
⏰ 7 PM
📍 Quaker Meeting House, Charles Street, Cardiff, CF10 2GB

Come along and squeeze the last drop out of summer with us! ☀️
