Yesterday brought mixed results, but the effort and attitude from both sides was a delight to see 👏💛

The 1s travelled to Westgate-on-Sea and returned with the full 20 points after posting an impressive 310/4 from their 40 overs. A superb unbeaten 104* from Stephen Malkin led the way, before Mati Masood backed it up brilliantly with 4/37.

The 2s slipped to a 5-wicket defeat against Nelson, but there were still plenty of positives to take. Abin Alexander produced some powerful hitting with 85, including 7 fours and 7 sixes 💥

Fielding practice may be on the agenda this week, but the lads never gave up and kept battling until the end.

We go again next weekend.

This week’s Kentish Pip Player of the Match is shared between Sujas Roy and Ian Attenborough 💛🏏

Ian kept our batting innings alive with a superb 60* not out, whilst Sujas kept us in the game with a brilliant spell that finished with figures of 3/17.
