Rich, full-bodied and brewed with an intentionally high finishing gravity for extra sweetness and a thick, smooth finish.

Layered with dark chocolate and roasted malt, then conditioned on the finest cacao nibs for intense cocoa richness. All brownie, espresso and bittersweet chocolate fudge, with a warming depth that stays with you.

We’ve poured alongside our friends Garage Barcelona⚡️ many times over the years. Joining them at their own festival, with some of the best breweries from around the world, means everything.

Bits & bobs 📆

A little look at what’s coming up here at Floc.

Will Richards absolutely nailed this calendar for us - we’ll be filling it up as we go and sharing the chaos with you lovely lot each month.

Last week we were out at the brilliant Hastings Tap Takeover, taking over the taps at Ritual St Leonards. Thanks for having us 🫶

There’s plenty of fresh b**r - a West Coast IPA, a 10% Imperial Stout, two DIPAs and a DDH IPA all coming your way very soon 🫦

Tonight we’ve got a TTO at The Ewell Tap | Craft B**r & Bottle Shop, while down at FLOC. Folkestone Bar it’s Wünder Harbour at the Goods Yard with plenty of the good stuff pouring.

And then, to round off October, we’re heading to Barcelona for MASH, pouring alongside some of the best breweries in the world, hosted by our pals Garage Barcelona⚡️.

Five years ago today, we got the keys to 7a Cotton Road.

I remember it well. My second child had been born the day before, and I was sitting in a pub opposite the hospital transferring the rent deposit, wondering whether I’d taken on a little too much for one week.

7,000 square feet. One plug socket. No lights. It felt enormous compared with the tiny unit in Margate. We had four months to get it working and paying for itself, with a huge jump in production to make along the way.

Four months later, we were brewing.

Five years on, that enormous building is pretty much full. We’ve made a lot of b**r, learnt mostly the hard way and met some brilliant people. Between the team, the b**rs and everyone who comes through the doors, we’ve built something we’re proud of.

The ambition has always been simple: make great b**r, create places where people can enjoy themselves, and build a business people enjoy being part of.

It’s hard to imagine Floc. anywhere other than 7a Cotton Road. We have plenty more to do, but making great b**r and creating spaces where people can have a good time will always come first.

To everyone who’s bought a can, ordered a pint, stocked our b**r or helped us along the way: thank you. And to the team, past and present, who’ve put so much into this place - thank you. You’ve made this possible.

Here’s to many more years at 7a Cotton Road, you sunny, vast beaut.

Three b**rs releasing this week brewed with our friends DEYA Brewery to celebrate the arrival of this year’s fresh 2026 New Zealand hop harvest from Freestyle Hops

Every year we wait (im)patiently for these new season hops to arrive. Picked just a few months ago, they capture everything we love about New Zealand hops - bright aromatics, incredible intensity and a freshness that’s impossible to replicate later in the year.

Rather than brew one collaboration, we wanted to explore the harvest across three different b**rs.
