Morning everyone — tomorrow, Friday 29 May, is the first Shudy Bike Meet of 2026 and the weather is looking good ☀️ Looking forward to seeing everyone.
Please can we ask everyone to ride mindfully through the villages and roads when arriving and leaving the meet. It really helps keep our neighbours happy — especially as they always put up a speed camera to keep an eye on us! Last year the evidence captured showed that most of the speeding was from non-bike meet traffic (ha ha!) so let’s try and keep that record going.
Food tomorrow will be from Shudy Shack and Haverhill Ice Cream & Desserts, and the bar will be fully stocked with real ale and the usual drinks. PLEASE SUPPORT the food stalls and bar where you can, as it helps us keep the bike meets free for everyone.
Unfortunately, no live music tomorrow due to circumstances outside our control — but we’ve got a great band booked for the June meet.
And don’t forget the Weekender in July, where the bike meet extends right through to Sunday morning.
