La Raza is where the beautiful meet. As you relax on the luxurious sofas and listen to the DJ it feels like you are entering a world of bliss. list is great and includees seven good value house wines, the champagne list hints at the wealth of the young clientele, with the bar resembling a cocktail drinker's heaven. Try the mojito cocktail generously served with Havana Club rum and the trademark mint and sugar. Latin art scattered about the venue and ambient lighting levels all night make it feel very cosy. Every Tuesday jazz and funk live acts give proceedings a sophisticated cabaret feel. Food is served in tapas portions together with larger raciones, influenced by the cuisine of Italy, France, and Greece with hints of the Orient and Caribbean as well as Spain. As the DJ cranks up the volume and the casually dressed pretty young waitresses get to work, you can marvel at the specially trained cocktail waiters, dramatically shaking up one of the 30 concoctions on offer. After dark, the bar fills up with the clubbing crowd. The DJ plays until 2am and the atmosphere gets buzzing.
