With just over a week to go until our charity funday on Sunday 4th October it’s time to ask all you lovely people to start donating items for our bring & buy charity sale. If you have any unwanted gifts, stuff you want to get rid of but think it’s too good to just toss in the rubbish bin or you’re having a clear out please bring any items to the pub so that we can sell them on, with all proceeds going into the big pot for our three charities, prostate cancer, Arthur Rank & St Matthews School.
About a third of the way towards our £1500 target so any help whether you bring stuff or buy things on the day will be much appreciated. 😀

Please join us for a minute’s applause in the 45th minute this Saturday in memory of U’s fan Jamie Baker, who sadly passed away this week.

Jamie was only 45 and a familiar face at the Abbey, where he shared many matchdays with his son, George.

Our thoughts are with Jamie’s family and friends at this difficult time. 🙏
