Yay! - Nick and his jazz Quintet this time have signed up again - wonderful news!
We have got to make the most of these opportunities as Nick has clearly got quite a career ahead of him and in time we will sadly not get a look in!
For those who have missed out so far - the Nick Antoniou Quartet were a local four piece ensemble newly formed, playing a cool mix of jazz standard. Originally piano, vocals, trumpet, double base and drums, and now saxophone to take them up to the next Quintet level.
We have been lucky enough to have had Nick play for us a number of times now at both pubs and they really are something pretty special (think Jamie Cullum according to the Guardian). All evenings have all been fully booked and increasingly quickly. They have undestandably built up a very loyal following. A real find.
Rob will be offering his full menu on the night (5:30-9 pm) - as you know, a treat in its own right. He will also be throwing in a couple of fish specials.
We set out our tables for a jazz club atmosphere - so please book a table in advance, stating whether dining or just drinking. Prime tables are allocated to diners, but drinkers are welcome too and will be fitted into the restaurant if room, otherwise the jazz and atmosphere wafts well through to the snug.
Now a Quintet means an even more exlusive evening as tables in the restaurant are even more limited. Please book quick while you can.
There will be a £10/head cover charge for seats in the restaurant (£5/head option will be offered if we have to overflow into the snug) to contribute to Nick and his quintet's fee.
To confirm a dining booking a £10 non-refundable deposit will be required which will come off your bill on the night.
Drinking only bookings cannot be guaranteed a seat in the restaurant/snug but will be fitted in where possible.
