Tonight we were busy getting the England flags up and the pub decorated ready for the World Cup, when local legend Bernie arrived and decided the occasion needed something extra special...

Out came the harmonica, and before we knew it, we were being treated to her very own rendition of the English National Anthem! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 🎶

Now we're not saying Thomas Tuchel should be worried about his job, but if England are looking for pre-match entertainment, we know someone who's available! 😂

In all seriousness, it was one of those brilliant pub moments that you just can't plan for. Plenty of laughs, lots of smiles, and it definitely made decorating for the tournament even more memorable.

A massive thank you to Bernie for bringing some unexpected patriotism, entertainment, and harmonica-powered enthusiasm to the evening. ❤️

The flags are up, the excitement is building, and if Bernie's performance is anything to go by, we're already winning! 🏆🍻

Another cracking meat raffle today and once again there were smiles, cheers, and a few accusations of corruption... 👀😂

🏆 Johnny has somehow managed to win the Mixed Grill for the SECOND WEEK IN A ROW! We're not saying he's bribing the raffle drum, but we are investigating his relationship with ticket number Blue 210... 🤔🤣

🍺 Steve & Nicky spent most of the draw convinced the raffle was fixed and telling me to shake it up …. right up until they won a Free Pint. Funny how quickly faith in the system is restored! 😂🍻

💸 Spare a thought for Les & Jan. First week they've attended and they've won absolutely sod all. Not a sausage. Not a pint. Not even a consolation crisp. However, they did both grab a World Cup Sweepstake, and as they say... money goes to money 👀💰

🥩 Ian popped in just to say hello while he's back for the week and somehow walked away with TWO prizes - the Beef and the Belly Pork. That's not a visit, that's a robbery! 😂

🎧 Meanwhile Emma & DJ Kev joined the winning party by bagging the Pork Chops. Kev can provide the tunes and Emma can provide the chops for dinner! - a proper team effort! 🎶🥩

🌭 Dave & Cath continue their hot streak after taking home the Pork Chops last week and now bagging the Sausages this week! At this rate the BBQ is looking less like a summer plan and more like a full-scale catering operation. 🔥🥩

Meanwhile, word on the street is that Dave & Helen won't be with us next week after winning the £5 Free Meat Raffle Entry. The big question is... will they generously pass it on to Dave & Cath to keep the winning run alive, or will they guard it like the family silver? 🤔💷

😢 And finally, a moment of silence for Little Jimmy... who won absolutely no meat whatsoever. A dry night for the lad. Someone check he's got enough beans on toast to see him through the week. 😂
