Just a reminder that John’s retirement party is this Saturday at 8:00pm at the Ex Service Club.

After years of dedication as our Steward (and chef!), this will be John’s final night. We’d love to see as many members, friends, and locals as possible come along to give him the send-off he deserves.

🍻 FAREWELL TO JOHN – OUR STEWARD 🍻

After many years of looking after the Ex Service Club, our wonderful steward John (Chef) is hanging up his apron and retiring from his position.

John’s last night will be Saturday 29th August, and we’d love for our members, regulars, friends and anyone who has enjoyed John’s company over the years to come along and give him the proper send-off he deserves! 🥳🍻

Come down, have a drink, share some laughs and, most importantly, say goodbye and wish John all the very best for his retirement. ❤️

It wouldn’t be the same without you there!

❤️ A TRUE HERO ❤️

We’d like to take a moment to recognise an incredible man from Rhyl who recently stepped in and potentially saved the life of one of our own.

The lady he helped is a long-standing member of the Ex Service Club, Caernarfon, and someone who loves nothing more than coming along to enjoy her bingo nights with us. ❤️

When she needed help, he didn't hesitate. He performed CPR continuously for an incredible 20 minutes, doing everything he could to keep her going until further help arrived.

He had learned some basic CPR during his time with the Royal Welsh, and we're incredibly grateful that he had that knowledge — and, more importantly, the courage and determination to put it into action when it mattered most.

20 minutes is an incredibly long time to keep going, but he didn't give up.
We don't know if he realises just how special that act was, but to us, he's a hero. ❤️

Sometimes heroes don't wear capes… sometimes they're just the person who refuses to give up. ❤️
