🍷🧀 GOOGLE MAY HAVE LOST OUR VIBES BUT WE CERTAINLY HAVEN'T! 🩷
Well, this isn't quite the disappearing act we had planned! 🙈
After two and a half years of building Vino & Vibes, we've recently discovered that our established Google Business Profile has disappeared, along with our wonderful 5-star reviews, customer testimonials, photos, menus, events and two and a half years of memories! 💔
Our appeal has now been submitted to Google and is currently under review.
What's even more concerning is that we're not the only local business experiencing this!
This week, Jay from The PC Guy shared that his business had also disappeared from Google Maps after apparently being reported as permanently closed, taking over 200 five-star reviews with it.
As Jay highlighted, this isn't simply about losing a Google listing. For small independent businesses, our online presence is incredibly important. It helps customers discover us, supports our reputation and ultimately helps keep our businesses thriving and our teams employed.
⚠️ A LITTLE HEADS-UP TO ALL OUR FELLOW BUSINESS OWNERS!
Please regularly check your Google Business Profile. Make sure your business is still visible, your opening hours and contact details are correct, your reviews are showing and you still have full ownership and management access.
Don't assume everything is fine just because you've spent years building your online presence. We certainly did!
BUT HERE'S THE IMPORTANT BIT…
🥂 VINO & VIBES IS VERY MUCH OPEN, VERY MUCH THRIVING AND STILL DOING WHAT WE DO BEST!
For the past two and a half years, we've poured our hearts (and quite a lot of w**e!) into creating so much more than just a w**e bar.
🧀 Our fabulous cheese & charcuterie boards with 28 cheeses to choose from
🥂 Themed bottomless brunches
🎤 Weekly live music and open mic nights
🩷 Wednesday Wellness workshops with The Queenager Club
🧠 Quiz nights with Steven Taylor
🥂 Paint & Sip events with Wick-edly Creative
🪩 DJ nights with our resident DJ Ged Birch
☕ And most recently, bringing Ramsbottom's first Coffee Rave — COFFEE CHAOS! to life! Coffee Chaos II tickets on sale soon.......
We've laughed, danced, grazed, raised glasses, made friendships and created some unforgettable memories along the way.
And we're only just getting started!
Google might have temporarily lost our history, but it certainly hasn't taken away our heart, our community or our fabulous vibes! 🩷
So if you've searched for us recently and wondered where we've gone…
WE HAVEN'T GONE ANYWHERE! 🙌
We're still right here at 50 Bolton Street, Ramsbottom, doing all the fabulous things we've always done, with plenty more exciting things to come.
To everyone who has supported us, visited us, reviewed us, danced with us, laughed with us and helped make Vino & Vibes what it is today — THANK YOU! ❤️
And to our fellow independent businesses, including Jay and the team at The PC Guy, we hope these issues are resolved quickly.
In the meantime, we'd love your help spreading the word. Please share this post, tag your friends and continue supporting your local independents.
Because behind every small business is a whole lot of hard work, dedication, passion and people who genuinely care.
GREAT W**E. GREAT VIBES. AND WE'RE NOT GOING ANYWHERE! 🍷🧀🩷
