I have just watched a great documentary on sky arts on the German electro pioneers Tangerine Dream. Saw them live at the Free Trade hall in the mid 70's. Truly spellbinding gigs. Oh do l feel a little bit old. Great memories.

We are proud to say that EagleFest was an absolute stormer, bigger than last year. It was a joyus emotional day and epitomised our beautiful defiant Mancunian spirit. To all the bands, bar staff and most of all The Crowd who roared us on, thank you for making it a day no one will forget. Finally thank you to the Eagle and Child for having us. We choose love.

The Bunker club has moved to Sunday night at the Two Tubs and in what better way than the eclectic country blues americana of Steve Chapman-Smith, he is Steve Earle on a Bazouki, I kid you not. We also have the sublime Peter Aldridge who will enchant us with his wonderful, wry evocative songs of life. It will be a gas.
