Recreating the Real Ale mile

Recreating the Real Ale mile We are hoping to start a Burton mile! Come and join the licensees from some of the best real pubs in Burton On Trent as we create a REAL ALE TRAIL!

The walk shall commence at 2pm on Sunday 6th March at the recently revitalised Coach House then on to The fantastic Derby Inn who shall provide the finest ales from Wentwell Brewery followed by The Alfred where there will be free nibbles and live music, on to the quirky Middle Earth followed by The Roebuck who have an excellent wide range of guest ales and who also have live music (from 5.30pm) then to the Devonshire Arms and ending the 1.5 mile walk at The Coopers Tavern.

So its TODAY folks! :-) Some people are starting at The Coach House in Horninglow at 2pm others are joining us at The Derby Inn at 3pm it is totally your choice then on to The Alfred for 4pm to listen to the amazing Silicone Taxis and some complimentary (probably required) nibbles. We shall then progress on to The Roebuck who also have live music from Ruby Bridge at 5.30/6 then on to The Devonshire Arms and The Coopers Tavern. Enjoy :-) ALL WELCOME!!

Hi guys! So it has been brought to my attention that the 6th March is in fact Mothers Day. Now im happy to proceed with the walk on this day, however if this is going to stop some of you coming I don't mind changing the date. At the end of the day this walk is for you guys so it's totally up to you! Therefore I'm putting it to a vote!! Comment below your opinions and the majority vote will decide the outcome!! Ready....steady....GO!!!

I also want to say to those pubs not listed on the walk you are more than welcome to join us in our crusade the aim is to meet your licencees and to rebuild the old Horninglow Mile with a twist of course 😉
