We’re starting a vinyl only night, once a month to begin with, but more frequent as it grows.

We’re looking for vinyl only DJ’s that want to stand around chatting to likeminded people about all things vinyl, and music in general, and play a selection of their favourite records.

This could be a full night, or a few DJs on rotation, the only rules are it must be completely analogue.

If you yourself are interested, or have friends that might be, take them here and we’ll start something amazing!

Hellooo, Ant here!

I wanted to write a personal thank you to each and every one of you who’s visited Off The Record over the last 12 months.. Whether you’ve been in once or we see you every week, it genuinely means a lot.

It’s been an amazing first year. I’m not going to lie, it hasn’t always been easy, but seeing you all enjoying yourselves is what makes it worth it!

The team here are some of the best people I’ve worked with in my 23 years in the industry. They deserve more praise than I can fit into one Facebook post, but to all the staff: thank you for your hard work and for caring about this place as much as I do.

And a special thank you to Victoria, the glue that holds it all together. Everything you’ve put into this place, and the support you give the team, means more than you know.

We’re also lucky to have two brilliant DJs who’ve made a real difference.

Firstly, Karl King. He’s been on the decks since before I was born, and he’s played superclubs all over the world, but still makes time to come and play for us every bank holiday weekend, and offer a supportive eye roll when I mention to anyone I own a venue 😂

And Dave, we’ve worked together at many Popworlds over the years. One of the best DJs and entertainers I’ve worked with, and I’m proud to have him here with us.

Thank you both. The difference you make is remarkable.

And to my wife, Sarah and kids, thank you for all your support and patience with the long hours that come with running this place. Love you all x

And to everyone who’s chosen us for a night out, brought their mates along or recommended us to someone, thank you. You’ve helped make Off The Record what it is.
