The Roggerham Gate Inn is situated 10 minutes from Burnley town center in the luscious green Lancashire countryside. The pub being almost two centuries old has been run by the Wiaczek family for the last two decades and is still going strong, come and make yourself cosy in front of our log fire and enjoy a fresh pint of Roggerale with a heartwarming meal.

As the seasons festivities die down after the annual Cockden Duck Race, we want to take the opportunity to say a Happy New Year to all. Your support throughout 2025 has been unbelievable. A sincere thank you and love to all, from Tony, Sue, Ged and Anthony.

Now, to announce the winners of the 2026 Cockden Duck Race. It was all girl power this year and a great turnout in general. Merriment and friendship shared throughout this great community.

A fantastic Christmas and New Year period had by everyone, thank you all.

New Years Day saw the annual duck race, this year won by Martin, Sam taking second and Arwel in third. As Arwel wasn't there in person, as per rules, half of his winnings will be donated to the hospice.

Also a huge shout-out to everyone in the community that helped over the last few days clearing snow from the road and car park. It's been a huge help!

As we sit downstairs, surrounded by familiar friendly faces and joyous laughter. We find ourselves thankful to those who have stood with us and supported us throughout a tough year. We've said it for many years, The Rogg will always be a home to those who need it, faces new or old.

Just a quick word on behalf of Sue, Tony, Ged and Anthony.

A huge thank you to everyone for last night, it was great to see familiar faces supporting the pub as well as friends we don't get to see often and new faces alike. We had a great night, hope you did also! With the future being an unknown and the current climate the way it is, your support makes nights like this even more special.

Also a special thank you to Tom, Liv, George, Ben, Will, Lucas and Connor for taking time out of their busy independent gig schedules, to put on a show for us. You filled our pub with laughter and great vibes just like last year!

Hope we get to experience it again!

Ben's looking forward to tomorrow's gig, are you? Couple of things to keep in mind to make it a great night for all.

Cash is definitely king, because the card reader is terribly slow.
Try to utilise car park space as best as possible. If anything car share with your friends!
Be respectful of the bands and their gear, it's not cheap.
For extra brownie points from Sue, bring your empties to the bar, unless you'd prefer Anthony getting up close and personal when glass collecting 😜.
When leaving, please bear in mind we have some neighbours who probably won't be in attendance.
