Job Role Description

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages in accordance with customer preferences.
• Greet guests warmly and take their orders accurately, ensuring prompt service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Check identification to verify legal drinking age and promote responsible alcohol consumption.
• Handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately using the point-of-sale system.
• Restock bar supplies as needed, including glassware, garnishes, and beverages.
• Engage with guests to create a friendly atmosphere and respond to any special requests.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods

Skills

• Previous experience in a bar / pub environment is desirable but in-house training will be provided.
• Excellent serving skills with a friendly, approachable manner
• Basic maths skills for handling transactions and measuring ingredients.
• Good organisational skills with effective time management abilities.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of service.
• Personal presentation that reflects professionalism and hospitality values
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or shifts as required.

Shifts

Shifts will include a mixture of the following:

• Weekend days (Rotating between a Saturday day first week and Sunday evening the other). On a rotating basis.
• To be able to cover shifts if needed, this is optional.

Paid weekly. Minimum Wage Will Apply.
Applicants Must Be at Least 18 Years Old Due To Licencing Laws.
