Llandod Laughs is back this February with another show jam-packed full of brilliant comedians performing their funniest routines. Come and see some top-notch comedy in the beautiful and atmospheric Pavilion Mid Wales
This month we are very pleased to present the wonderful MUNDO JAZZ as your headliner.
Mundo Jazz's mission is to teach us about peace, the environment, racial harmony and love. It is unfortunate, then, that he knows absolutely nothing about anything.
He teaches us love and understanding with all the subtlety of a brick hitting butter, through ridiculously catchy songs, legendary one-liners and thunderously crass philosophizing.
A beautifully subtle satire on the likes of Bono and Bob Geldof, Mundo Jazz is a superb musical and comic improviser, frequently creating songs on the spot and veering off into spontaneous chaos.
Also appearing we have DAN THOMAS, who recently performed his first one hour stand-up special on S4C. Dan Thomas has been performing as a stand-up since 2005, turning full time in 2010, when he was a finalist in the Welsh Unsigned Stand Up Awards and the Loaded Laftas. The following year Dan supported Russell Kane on his national tour of Smokescreens and Castles. Dan also works in TV warm-up for shows including Deal Or No Deal.
Kate McCabe is An American in Powys, for one night only at least. Kate is from the US of A, and has been making huge waves in the comedy scene in the UK since she arrived here a few years ago. Kate’s laidback stage presence allows you to really enjoy her top-notch routines and observations and there is a hint of surrealness that sets her apart from other acts on the circuit.
Sarah Breese is a mischievous ball of comedy nonsense, and hails from Llanidloes. Since joining the circuit in 2015, Breese has been making waves on the Welsh stand-up scene and beyond.
Funny, excitable and engaging, her comedy is a combination of sharp observations, skewed logic, and boundless enthusiasm. A finalist of the Welsh Unsigned Stand-Up Award 2016, her Radio/TV credits include programs for BBC Radio Wales and S4C.
