Funeral arrangements of Darran Owen
“Darran The White Hart”

Darran passed away peacefully on Tuesday 25th November 2025. Beloved son of Ann, much-loved dad to Rory, Minnie and Jack, a cherished grandfather to Marlie, and a loving brother to Kerry, Steph, Leejon and Jason.

A private family cremation will take place, followed by a Service of Thanksgiving at St Mary’s Church, Builth Wells, on Friday 12th December at 2pm.

The cortege will leave Hospital Rd at 8:15am, travel through town, and pause outside his much-loved White Hart for anyone wishing to pay their respects.

A wake will be held at the White Hart following the service at St Mary’s.

Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to Wye Valley NHS Trust (Arrow Ward).

We are deeply saddened to share the passing of our much-loved landlord, Darran Owen. He will be missed more than words can say.

In his honour, The White Hart will be temporarily closed out of respect and while we complete the necessary licensing arrangements.
