What a weekend we’ve got lined up.

Kickstarting things on Friday at 7 PM, we are delighted to welcome back the Barrel Tappers. After a few weeks away, they’re back where they belong and ready to get the weekend moving.

Then on Sunday from 6 PM, we’re teaming up with Spare Peg Records for something special. Barrel favourite Gary McCausland is taking the stage for an evening of incredible live music. Expect a brilliant blend of folk, blues, and a fantastic atmosphere to close out your weekend.

When Paul and I first popped down to see the lads at Penzance Brewery they told us about their zesting party and the St Clements they were brewing. We couldn’t resist making a return trip to pick up a cask. We’re looking forward to tapping it this weekend. (We’re not going to drink too much of it ourselves as we don’t want to get pithed. 🍋🍋🍋🍋)

We have music on Saturday and Sunday this weekend. Saturday sees the return of Tom and Pals, at 7 pm,with some instrumental world folk. And on Sunday we have Freya O’Dwyer bringing rock classics, acoustic strings, and an angelic voice with a haunting edge. As always, we have great beer and mighty craic.

We’ve got a busy weekend ahead. There’s music on Saturday and Sunday with a Barrel Tappers spin off on Saturday and Ezmay Grace on Sunday. We’re open on Monday so that you can make the most of the bank holiday weekend. We took a road trip across Cornwall this week to visit suppliers so throughout the weekend we’ll have some great pints from some of our favourite suppliers.
