It's with a big heavy heart that from November 23rd we will not be renewing our tenancy contract with The Burntwood Pub. I have had a fantastic 19 years being Involved with The Burntwood Pub and all of the community but the time has come to move on. Over the last 9 years we have invested so much and brought the pub from the 1960's to what it is now, But without help and investment from the otherside to make it even better we cannot carry on in such a difficult industry. We are so lucky to have met so many lovely people from all around our communities and be able to call them friends. I started off my journey on my own with my loyal Labrador Max, then i got to meet my now beautiful wife Holly and we had our beautiful daughter Mayble. We have got through so many tough times like recessions and covid and managed to come out the other side, but now is our time to say goodbye to those memories. We thank everyone staff old and new friends family customers and the community for all your help and support and we hope you carry on with the next person/persons that takes over in November/December. As one door closes another one opens as they say, its now time for us to relax as a family and start a fresh. We will miss you and the pub life most definitely... But we will see you all on the other side of the bar for the Christmas period. ❤️ Griff, Holly, Mayble, Max, Stella, Thor
