After debuting their pumpkin workshop with us last year, Forest Flower Studio are back with us for another afternoon of Petals & Pumpkins.

Think pumpkins overflowing with autumn blooms, prosecco poured, and just the right amount of October mischief.

All rather wholesome, really…

And just like that, summer’s nearly over

September always feels like a bit of a reset. Holidays are done, routines return and the pub starts to feel a little different. But we’ve got plenty going on.

PECKISH? Funny how a pint does that… Luckily, Saturdays in September come with backup.

Our rotating food residency has been a lovely addition to life at the pub, and we’re really enjoying seeing people make an afternoon — and often an evening — of it. Good independent food outside, excellent pints inside and, judging by some of you, absolutely no intention of going home anytime soon. You’ll find all the details on our Peckish pop-ups over on our website.

September also means tickets are launching for our Pumpkin Workshop, with our Christmas Wreath Workshop following very closely behind.

Because apparently the minute September arrives, we’re allowed to start talking pumpkins and Christmas.

Have you noticed?

August always arrives with a strange mix of emotions.

For some, the suitcases have already been unpacked. For others, there’s still one last getaway to come. Parents are quietly counting down to the school run, children are wishing summer could last forever, and somehow… people have already started mentioning Christmas.

We’re not quite there yet.

There’s still a Bank Holiday to enjoy. More sunshine to come. Still time for one more drink in the garden. Still time to catch up with friends you haven’t seen all summer.

And we’ve got a couple of Saturdays worth sticking in the diary.
