Bar / Waiting Staff
- We are seeking energetic, reliable, friendly and flexible Bar and Waiting Staff to join our team for a long term position. You will work in a fast-paced environment delivering exceptional service. This role requires immediate flexibility across daytime, evening and weekend shifts.

Note: Due to UK licensing laws regarding the sale and service of alcohol, all applicants must be aged 18 or over.

Chef De Partie
- We are looking for a passionate, adaptable, chef de partie to join our energetic kitchen team. In this role, you will run a specific kitchen section while keeping standards high. Flexibility is key, as your shift patterns and station responsibilities will vary based on business needs.

We recently visited the award-winning The Hobby Horse in Brynmawr, and it didn’t take us long to see why it’s getting so much attention! Having just been named Best Bar & Grill in Wales at a prestigious awards event, our expectations were high—and they absolutely delivered.

From the moment we walked in, we were struck by how beautiful the place is. It’s tastefully decorated and has such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Despite being very busy, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and every table looked happy and well looked after.

Food highlights:
�✨ Starters: Garlic mushrooms & delicious brie and bacon salad�✨ Mains: Hoisin duck with chips, peas and carrots, plus a hearty chefs signature steak & ale pie with chips. peas & extra gravy�✨ Side: Cheesy garlic bread�✨ Desserts: Sticky toffee pudding and apple cobbler both served with ice cream�🍷 Drinks: A bottle of white Zinfandel

All we can say is… wow. The food was absolutely incredible from start to finish. It’s easy to see why they’ve won the awards they have—we’ll definitely be back!
