Edgar Phillips, Light Colour & Glass
From tiny chapels to the fields of Glastonbury, stained-glass artist and sculptor Edgar Phillips has spent his career transforming light and colour into extraordinary works of art.
His creations include a spectacular 46-metre steel and stained-glass dragon at Glastonbury Festival, made using what he describes as “a church worth” of glass
Edgar’s illustrated talk will share the stories, craftsmanship and inspiration behind his work - from rescuing beautiful antique glass to creating contemporary pieces for churches and private homes around the world.
He’ll also offer a glimpse of his forthcoming exhibition at the Bishop’s Palace in Wells.
7pm Thursday 29 October
