Today’s the day… and truthfully, we’re struggling to find the right words.
Handing over the keys to the Ram Inn isn’t just the end of a job for us, it feels like saying goodbye to a huge part of our lives.
This pub has been more than bricks and mortar. It’s been filled with laughter, late nights, early mornings, hard graft, hugs, tears, celebrations… and every single one of those moments was shared with you.
To every one of you who walked through our doors, you didn’t just support a pub, you supported us. You gave us purpose, you gave us memories, and you made this place what it became. We appreciate you more than we could ever properly put into words.
Through the busy days, the quiet ones, the chaos, and everything in between, you were there. Pint after pint, chat after chat, smile after smile. You turned strangers into friends, and friends into family.
To our staff! You are everything. The loyalty, the effort, the laughs, the way you pulled together when things got tough… we’ll never forget it. You made us proud every single day.
To our friends, families, and everyone behind the scenes who helped carry us through, especially in the moments when it all felt a bit too much, thank you for being our strength.
This place has meant the world to us. And so have you.
Today we hand the keys over to CeeJay, and we truly wish him nothing but the best as he takes on the Ram and makes it his own.
But for us… this isn’t really goodbye.
Because what made this place special wasn’t the building — it was you. And that doesn’t just disappear.
We’ll see you all again soon 👀. new places, same faces ❤️
