Every third Sunday is pie Sunday at The Newfield,this Sunday the pie is Homemade Chicken,ham and leek served with Roast potatoes and vegetables or chips and vegetables.
Vegetarian choice of pie is Homemade Cheese,onion and potato served with mushy peas.
Please note on Pie Sunday we do not serve a Sunday Roast.

We have had notice of yet another road closure in The duddon Valley from 15th April for 3 weeks.
The team have advised that local access will be granted but there may be a slight delay whilst the operatives clear the road to enable safe passage.
The road will be fully open at the end of each day and will be open over the May bank holiday weekend.
The Newfield Inn and Turner Hall Campsite are all open as usual during the road works

We have had a few enquiries this week about Turner Hall Campsite.
Yes its fully open ,just turn up ,choose your spot,pitch your tent and someone will be round each morning to take payment.
Turner Hall is a working farm ,they are out all day on the farm so therefore they may be unable to answer the phone for enquiries but booking not required just turn up.

Just a reminder all now Easter is here and summer on the way that Turner Hall Campsite Ltd is fully open from now ,please ignore the post from 2 years ago saying open end of May (thats a old post).
No booking required just pop along ,choose your spot ,pitch your tent and someone will call round in the morning for payment.
Only a 10 minute walk to The Newfield Inn which is open from 9 am every day serving breakfast and full menu 12 noon until 9 pm.
Please note the campsite is cash only

Roast Beef with traditional trimmings ,Homemade Beef and Stilton pie served with Roast potatoes,seasonal vegetables and gravy and Homemade Cheese Onion and Potato Pie served with seasonal vegetables

Plan your Sunday ,take a lovely walk around the beautiful duddon valley followed by a meal at The Newfield Inn ,we are serving Sunday roast from 12 noon alongside our full menu.

Thank you to all who came for the quiz last night ,we raised a amazing £134.85 which will be passed on the The Duddon and Furness mountain rescue .

Hi folks, just a reminder as we move towards autumn here at The Newfield Inn we are still open from 9 am everyday serving breakfast 9 to 12 noon then main menu 12 noon until 9 pm.
From Sunday 14th September back by popular demand we are serving Roast Beef with Yorkshire Pudding,Real Pan Gravy,Roast and Creamed Potatoes and Fresh Vegetables,this runs along side our main menu.
Our Roasts tend to sell out fast so if your planning a walk and fancy a roast late afternoon just give us a ring and we will reserve for you.
