And they say you should never mix work with pleasure, but it’s been 12 years and Bex and Sar are still laughing (even through any menopausal screams of “I can’t do this anymore” 🫣)

We are going into our third Christmas, we’ve made so many memories – mostly all good ones, and have got to know so many locals and regulars.

Guests who’ve turned The Wildmoor into their place - we are loving every minute of it and are so proud that we’ve created the kind of pub we would want to eat and drink at.

Roll on Christmas! Time for laughter, more memory making, and Bex trying to be “boss”…

✨ It’s officially November.

Christmas mode is activated. And we’re all for it.

Grab your diary and get booked in, the festive season is for jolly good times.

Our Christmas menu goes live on Weds 25th Nov.

Then it’s time to get your jumpers out and have a sing-a-long at our Christmas jumper lunch on Sat 28th Nov.

Frazer and Bex are back for our posh pub quiz on Weds 2nd Dec and judging from the last two, we’re expecting a full house.

Christmas Eve and Boxing Day are already filling up - so get booked in.

And whilst we let the team rest, remember you can raise a glass with Bex, Sarah and Trix 12-2pm.

Then before we know it we’ll be ringing in the New Year.

For 2026 the party is back with live music from The Dukes Of Havoc 9:30pm.

Yes we kick start Christmas in November - bringing a little festive joy to your weekend 🎶 🧑‍🎄 🎄

Christmas jumpers compulsory, hats and mulled w**e provided, the white onion soup everyone keeps asking us about is back, and there’s live music 1pm-3pm.

Always a sell out, so gather your tribe and book in.

If you’re looking for a reason to pop us on your visit list, here’s more than one.

Autumn has landed. Every Monday we roast more potatoes, cook more yorkies and serve up the much-loved roast over lunch and dinner.

Tuesdays are for steak and frites - Aubrey Allen buy the top 1% of meat in the country, it’s why we use them, it’s quality you can trust. British beef rump steak, served perfectly, with Koffmans skinny fries and a glass of decent w**e, all for £22!

Get over the hump day with a pub classic, our steak burger is back, loaded with braised brisket, BBQ sauce, pickles and maple-cured bacon - it’s as good as you’ll get. And start the weekend early on Thursday - a glass of w**e, an Aperol or Hugo Spritz, or something no and low. Our new drinks list has landed.

Fridays reserved for fish supper - let’s hope the storms don’t stop the fisherman from fishing…

Saturdays are for indulging; merrifield duck, Boston rib to share or stone bass and brown shrimp, make sure you save room for pud.

And the only way to end the week…

Quality meat cooked slow and low, gravy made the proper way, giant yorkies, crisp potatoes and cauliflower cheese, red cabbage or stuffing if you fancy. Plus top ups if you need them.
