From Paul and the team at the Bowling Green, thank you to everybody who has supported the pub over the last 24 years. It’s been great to catch up with everybody who has called in during the final few weeks and share memories of our time at the Bowling Green. A lot has happened! On Saturday, Paul locked the doors for the final time and handed the pub back to Marston’s, and anybody who has driven past will have seen that it’s been secured ready for the next chapter in its life, whatever that may be. This page will also now be managed by Marston’s while the pub is closed, so this is Paul, Ben and the team signing off. Thank you, and all the best 🙏🏻🍻

A big thank you to everybody who turned out on Sunday to wish Paul all the best in his retirement. If you didn’t make it, don’t worry, Paul won’t be leaving until towards the end of August so there’s still time to call in 🍻

Important message regarding tonight’s Bowling Green Classic Cars - July 2024:
With the good weather and the significance of tonight’s meet we are expecting a high turnout. Please remember the below:
☀️Please don’t arrive too early. It doesn’t give anybody an advantage and makes things difficult for us if traffic builds up around the site.
☀️Please park as instructed by marshals, who will be making sure your cherished vehicles are safely parked whilst trying to maximise space.
☀️If the site fills, which has only happened once before, it will be one in, one out. There is no space for waiting around the site so you will have to move on I’m afraid.
🙏🏻Finally, remember this is the last meet (for now) for our marshals too, some of which have been attending for 20yrs. Make sure it’s an enjoyable one for them too.
