Touch of the wet stuff about today. Im glad to see it after having my arse flayed off at my lads cricket last week. I looked like a match on thursday.

We too have an abundance of wet stuff. Below is today's cask lineup. All great stuff. I must highlight trail mix white ipa. Made with rolled oats and tasty with a kick at 5.2%.

Another sad post. Another great friend of the beagle has sadly passed away.

I first met Ade during lockdown takeaways, during which he excelled in drinking bitter like it was going out of fashion, usually in overalls covered in oil 🤣.

He was a lovely gentle and kind man and had his battles with health during his final years. You will be missed and we extend our heartfelt beagle blessings to his family and friends.

We shall raise a pint to you. Rest in peace old friend. 🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺

Today's beers below. Opened a bit earlier today as the football yesterday drives me to drink. Appalling.

The beer is as far removed from evertons performance yesterday as can be. Lovely stuff from fell, 4ts, Bowness and weekend projects glorious stout.

New kegs from, red willow, dark element and a sneaky azvex.

Hello beaglers

I just want to thank everyone who came out to celebrate the life of Mike Bennett today.
I used to call mike my pub dad, a phrase he absolutely hated, but a phrase I meant.

A humble family proud man who suffered fools badly and raised the standards of those around him with wit, humour and some of the best anecdotes you will ever hear.

I shall miss you old friend. We as a pub will miss you. An old school gent. A friend above all else. The world is a poorer place but our lives are enriched having known you.

Well, yesterday we started with excelsius which then changed to brass castles morph ipa. This lasted 4 hrs before you necked the lot so we put post horn on which you've mostly consumed. 3 beers on pump 2 in one day. You amaze us with the legendary levels that bromboroughs finest get through. It gives new meaning to a number 2. Certainly keeps us on our toes even when I balls up a tapping 😂.

Today's beers for probably not very long look like this. Ruck and maul is a particular favourite

Hefty few days. All 4 casks changed yesterday so here is today's cask lineup

Ossetts newest trip hop edition. Lovely light tasty beer so it is.
4ts bring us their lovely ipa. 4.6% so not to floor people after a raft of strong as an ox beers.
Salopians easy drinking classic bitter Shropshire gold.
The mighty breakfast stout from the glorious red willow. A stout of strength and in possession of a mighty pair as its 5.6%.

Tis a chilly one today. Behold our cask lineup for this monday. 4 changes from yesterday after a fairly robust pummelling was had yesterday.

Oracle, my favourite pale, excelsius one of my favourite ipas are joined by skyline bitter from peerless and the truly outstanding coffee caramel stout, swally rat. A collab between ossett and vault city. Its unbelievable.
