Hi All, we are looking for a Handy person for our pubs.
to take some pressure off our JB. We are looking for an individual that has the ability, to carryout small maintenance works, including Electrical, plumbing, painting, tiling etc. We want to keep on top of the daily upkeep of our premises, and want to employ the right person on a part time basis at 2 - 3 days a week.
The work can change daily due to priorities and we need the flexibility that a PAYE member of staff can bring. All of the above JB can do, but we need a way of smoothing out the response times to work ;).

To all of our wonderful customers, we have worked hard over the past 6 years to provide a unique and quality range of beers. And Brewing Ales is a labour of love, and to this end we have decide its time to take a break, until the pressure on the economy and the valuable pounds in everybody's pocket start to feel worth just that little bit more. We have lots of great news coming up over the next couple of months, but until we can see a future that supports breweries we have hit the pause button.

This isn't us hanging up the paddles, its just time for us to take stock of our team and all they deliver, as that's the reason we are in business. More updates soon. JB, Vincenza, Amy, Lulu, Bee, Linda, Sarah and the whole crew. ❤️

Happy Sunday everyone!

We are very much looking forward to welcoming you all for our inaugural Paws & Pints meet up at 1.30pm today!

Join us at The Brew Tap for 1.30pm for a relaxed social dog walk with other fellow owners and their doggies, finishing back at The Brew Tap for a refreshing Broadtown beer at the end!

We even have our refreshing American IPA, Narrow Gauge on for you all to enjoy post Sunday social dog walk!

We will also be showing the Women's World Cup Rugby: England vs Scotland at 4pm today for those interested!

See you at 1.30pm if you are enjoying us for the dog walk, but don't forget we are open from 12-8 today too with the lovely Sarah here to welcome you all!

We’re bringing our bottle shop to the Farmers Market tomorrow in Broad Hinton 🍻

Do come and visit if you get a chance, there’s some wonderful local produce and wares and we never go home empty handed!

Reminder that our next market is in Broad Hinton Village Hall next Sunday 17th August from 11:00 - 13:00.

We are going to have a community fruit and veg table, so…..
If you are growing lots of lovely fruits and veggies in your garden that you can’t use all at once, how about bringing some along to
the hall to add to our table.
We will sell them off and any profits we make will go to the Broad Hinton Village Hall.
Maybe you’ll be able to get some lovely grub that someone else has grown!

We've also pressed and bottled a new batch of apple juice from local apples - they'll be on sale on our table too!!!

Earlier this week we were asked to pull together a last minute pop-up second stage for this weekends Old Town Gasworks Sunday Socials Beer & Country Festival in conjunction with Broadtown Brewery and The Pulpit.

So we did.

We are bringing the brilliant M3G, Jol Rose music, JP Oldfield, David Corrigan & Steve Page (Blind Justice Page) to a gazebo on Devizes Road, perfectly surrounded by the cream of Swindon beer venues and great BBQ! We cannot think of a better way to spend a sunny Sunday afternoon.
