Lots of new customers popping in recently we thought it was about time we showed you what the building looked like before we created Mañana

A totally different style: lots of grey (in fact every item of woodwork was grey), plain walls and a totally different layout. Then we came in, ripped it all out and started again. Literally.

From the bar: designed and created by us (and our Dad- big up) using recycled palettes. Days spent sawing, sanding, crying and splinters galore. We now get Pallette PTSD 😂

The outside: colour picked & painted by us (which is a whole story in itself) : 4am starts to erect a scaffold tower so we could crack on before the businesses below opened. Not a fun job for those who fear heights 😅

The toilet: walls filled with posters from our travels & gigs - which has now grown into customers collecting posters on their holidays to bring back to our toilets … and our Words of wisedom board for you to share your quotes & thoughts

Upstairs: painted in our colours, our favourite art on the walls, plants & disco balls. An ever changing space that now hosts events, food & wellness classes & is available for private functions as well as being Brixham’s hidden craft beer bar.

We are hiring another person to join our growing little team 🍻

Starting at 5-6 hours per week this role will suit anyone who wants some extra money per week, someone who likes to be social and is outgoing, bubbly & extroverted.

Ideally you will have hospitality in your background, a passion for craft beer & want to help us with events. We can train you for the role but your personality is important ☺️.

Applicants Must be over 18, and must be available to work on weekends (Saturday shifts with occasional Fridays). A strong potential for more hours if wanted/the right person.

Thurs 4th - QUIZ NIGHT eyes down for 7pm. £1 per person, Chloe the Quiz Master & her sequin hat 🎤

Fri 12th BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND Kitchen takeover: book your table via message 6pm - 7pm and 8pm sitting / available to take-away too

Wed 17th - 🏃‍♀️meet at Mañana for 6pm for a fun 5k jog, join us for drinks after. (discounted beers for joggers)

Fri 19th - time for some tunes, live DJ set funky house for full summer vibes with 🪩 Free event 7pm onwards

Sat 20th Trawler Race - lots of pints / lots of fun, take away pints available / open earlier than normal

Fri 26th More music at Mañana Pick n Mix vinyl night Funk & Soul and everything inbetween, bring your own or come and enjoy 7pm onwards

Having had lots of new customers visit us over the last week:, They have all commented the same… “we never knew you were here”

As a new business we totally appreciate our stamp on Brixham hasn’t quite settled yet (let alone the fact we are hidden upstairs) we understand it will take time.

…But we’ve realised people almost always use Google when visiting somewhere new🪩

Tonight’s Kitchen Take-Over with Bao & Mian from 5pm tonight

Walk ins and Take Aways are welcome,

Kitchen is open from 5pm til 8pm
Meat/vegan options

We also have drinks to take away, so if you want to enjoy your Bao Buns & a pint along the harbour you absolutely can do.
