The Old Farmhouse is a 17th century former farmhouse, which is now
a Grade II listed building (as of 13th October 1952) & is open to the public as a traditional family pub since 1986. Hearty pub fare and local ales in a rustic setting with stripped floor, beams, converted barn & wood stove. Under new management as of August 2017, publicans Gemma & Monty are using their combined expertise of 12 years in the pub trade to enhance The Old Farmhouse in its entirety, offering a friendly, comfortable & memorable experience whatever the occasion. With a skilled culinary team The Old Farmhouse offers an extensive menu using the freshest local & seasonal produce, as well as offering a variety of homemade pies, fish dishes & selected daily specials. Our signature Farmhouse Carvery is also served every Sunday, with a choice of 4 perfectly cooked meats, alongside a wide range of freshly cooked vegetable dishes. Delicious food is served in the barn, cosy bar area or the old kitchen near to roaring log fires in the winter. In the summer a large outside area allows for al fresco summer dining.
