The Flamingo Club in Soho was a legendary jazz and rhythm & blues venue that operated roughly between 1952 and 1969.

The club was famous for its all‑nighters, (open Friday & Saturday nights till 6am) and for being a cross‑cultural space, drawing racial diversity, American GIs, Mods, West Indians and more. In the 1960s its sounds included more rhythm & blues and rock influences.
It later became known as the Pink Flamingo, before closing in 1969.

What an incredible cake filled, sunday afternoons swing with The Old Malthouse Jazz Band. Big thank you to Joe and the Boys. Huge thank you to my Mum, for stepping in and making three wonderful cakes for everyone to enjoy too :-)
