This morning our cleaner arrived to find that the toilet roll holder and soap dispenser had been ripped straight off the wall in our accessible toilet.
We recently completed a major investment in the pub, spending a significant amount of money to upgrade our facilities and improve the overall look, standards, and feel of the space for everyone who visits. To see our pub treated with such disrespect is genuinely heartbreaking.
Our team works tirelessly every single day to keep this place running, and it is simply not fair that they are left to pick up the pieces after mindless vandalism like this.
With pubs closing down all around us, keeping our doors open as a welcoming place where friends and family can relax together is already a massive challenge. Operating costs are higher than ever, and having to cover the expense of completely unnecessary repairs only adds to that burden.
Local spaces need support to survive, not to be torn down from the inside. Please respect the venue and the team who work so hard to make it a great place for our community.
