The Spin Bar are looking for a General Manager to create a welcoming and friendly environment in a bar/restaurant where customers want to come back to again and again and will shout about our beautiful harbourside location and the business.

Please note that this position will be part-time at Weekends to begin with and then expand into a full time role next Spring when the warm weather brings footfall to our location OR as soon as the General Manager is able to generate enough business to make opening during the week cost effective.

Role to play:

We are a small business with great potential but like so many others have been hit by the Covid-19 pandemic. We were purely an event space to hire for all types of events and would typically run with between 2-6 members of staff. With social distancing we have currently changed the concept and have moved more to a pizza style bar and restaurant.

Whilst the GM will be the person in charge we are looking for someone who is hands on with all aspects of the business from cooking to cleaning, serving to bottling up.

The GM will:
* TAKE over and promote the existing menus with the opportunity to add their own additions to provide variation.
* BE responsible for hitting bar & restaurant financial targets, maximising profits and must know all our policies and procedures to ensure staff and customers follow them.
* THRIVE on attention to detail and cleanliness, inspire colleagues with ease and work well within a team.
* HAVE a passion for the service, food and drink that is sold as they will be solely accountable for their staff in delivering a perfect experience to our customers, and to ensure a profitable well reputed bar and restaurant.
* CAPITALISE on guest feedback to improve performance and deliver results and growth and will need to be knowledgeable in social media and marketing of the business.

The Business is currently going into its quiet winter season also with Covid-19 still around. We are looking for a GM to initially take a part time Weekend position with the intent to grow and build the business ready for next spring & summer where our location is VERY busy. If the GM can grow the business above the current weekend footfall then additional hours are available in the week but only if cost affective.

Requirements:
The GM will need to be very experienced in hospitality and we are interested in any appropriate qualifications.
