In 1888, the council spent £29,334 buying land, owned by naturalist Sir John Henry Greville Smyth (whose collection formed the basis for the Bristol Museum), and landscaping it into Victoria Park. Nestled in the heart of Bedminster, a short distance from our namesake which opened to the public in 1891, we welcome everyone - whatever you’re popping in for a pint or tucking in to our delicious Sunday roast.
