THE NITROGEN GAS SPRING V THE STEEL COIL SPRING EXPERIMENT
After fitting the new steel coil spring and testing it out, it was found that the nitrogen gas spring was much faster and more powerful. I found this rather strange as the nitrogen gas spring run's to 12,000 Newton's on full compression and the steel coil spring run's to 14,000 Newton's on full compression, so said to be a stronger spring. So there it is the nitrogen gas spring is KING. I was on the right track all along and the nitrogen gas spring will last a lot longer with over 50 million shot's on high power and will never wear out or lose any power. So therefore the nitrogen gas spring is much longer lasting than any steel coil spring. I did this experiment to find out which spring is the very fastest and best for these Talisman Mantis Crossbows as some said the nitrogen gas spring is faster and some said the steel coil spring was faster. All steel coil spring's go down in power over time due to metal fatigue. But the nitrogen gas spring stay's exactly the same speed and power wise.
